A Private Sentosa Island Tour: Cable Car, Fort Siloso and the Beaches
Our guests rode the cable car to Sentosa, visited Fort Siloso and walked the beaches on a relaxed private half-day with a licensed driver-guide.
We pick up our guests at their hotel in the morning and start with the views from Mount Faber Peak. From there, the Singapore Cable Car carries everyone over the harbour to Sentosa: first the Mount Faber Line, then the Sentosa Line to Siloso Point. With the rainforest below and the city skyline behind, it is one of the best rides in Singapore.
Fort Siloso
Fort Siloso is an old coastal fort that once guarded the western entrance to Singapore’s harbour. Our guests walked the treetop Skywalk for views over the sea and the island, and heard the fort’s stories from our guide.
The beaches
Sentosa’s beaches are calm in the morning. We visit Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach with its rope bridge to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, and quiet Tanjong Beach, with time for photos and a walk on the sand.
Lunch by the marina
Many guests finish with lunch at Quayside Isle in Sentosa Cove, looking out over the yachts. Read about one of those lunches.
